We design and prototype systems that make it much cheaper to move material into and out of space. Our first focus is skyhooks - reusable orbital tethers that can catch and throw cargo so rockets do not have to do all the work. Long-term, these logistics systems become the foundation for technologies such as a Venus sunshade and planetary-scale climate engineering.
